File/Folder Access Permissions and Groups

Each file and folder/directory inside a server has its set of access permissions that is associated with it. These access permissions includes the owner of the file, the group of the file in which it is associated, and the read, write and execute permission for a file. This will allow allow you to choose who can use, access and control them on what they wanted to do with the files or folders/directories. There are 3 groups for file access and 3 permissions for users to be used.

Locate your .htaccess file and edit to add the SSL rule to the file.

Add the following lines within the .htaccess file in your website’s root folder.

How to submit a support ticket

You can submit a ticket to UKHost4u for Support, Sales and Account related issues.

To submit a ticket you may access our homepage and locate the Support button on top of the page. When you hover over the button it will show a drop down menu showing the links going to our Community/FAQ pages, the Call Us page and the Raise Support Ticket page.

Just click on Raise Support Ticket.



You will then be redirected to the Submit Ticket page where you will see the options for Sales, Support and Accounts Department. Now, select the check box for the department you want to contact then click Next.
