What to do when you accidently delete the public_html folder in cPanel

The deletion could be a little tricky. Sometimes, the user accidentally deletes the folder and then they want it back.

cPanel gives access to restore folders. Below are the steps to restore the puclic_html folder in cPanel –

1. Login to cPanel with valid credentials

2. Select File Manager under the Files option

3. Select the “View Trash” option to see all deleted files

4. Select the public_html folder that the user wants to restore and thus by selecting “Restore” button, user will be able to restore public_html folder
